This is a one off. We have never seen such pretty looking 124 spider. The royal blue and white looks fantastic. This car was owned by an aircraft engineer for 20+ years and it shows in the way it runs & drives.

- Twin Carb (emissions removed)

If i was going to keep a car for myself, I think this would be the one.

Specification
The 124 and lattery the 2000 spider were Fiats offering in the small convertible market starting in the 60s with the final turbo cars being produced in the early 80s.
Contemporaries include the Triumph Spitfire, MGB, Alfa Spider etc.
The primary market for the car was the USA with some 120,000 being sold during the 18 year manufacturing run. This car has a number of advantages over it's competition, that sweet Fiat Twin Cam engine, precise handling and the fact there is significantly more cabin space than the cosy MG and Triumphs of the time. 6 footers are welcome ....

Model History
We don't have the very early history for this car, our story picks up in the mid 80s when the car was purchased by it's previous owner. He ran the car through college and then after college. when he started work and had some money coming in, began to restore and upgrade the car.
The restoration and evolution continued for the next 20+ years culminating in the extremely well sorted car we have today. The previous owner worked as an aircraft engineer and this can be seen in the work and careful selection of upgrades bestowed on this car, more importantly it can be felt in the way the car drives. I can honestly say I have never driven a contemporary car of this era that goes and handles as nicely as this one.

The interior of this car is very original and as such is not perfect although very presentable, probably rating as a 3.5 out of 5, with 5 being an as new interior.
The seats come in a beautiful light blue and both front and back are in good condition.
The dashboard is original and definitely of it's time with the primary material being artificial wood. All the instruments are in good condition and work well. The stereo system has been upgraded recently. The center console is in good condition. The carpets are believed to be original and are in good shape for their age.
